Jab We Met...

Ours is a simple story, but quite different as we are living it…Its just the same that your maggie tastes different when two different people make it…Sorry, couldn’t keep telling it, i’m eating it just now.

We met at school,  maybe she couldn’t adapt to the new surroundings, she had moved to at first, her restless eyes told that every element was unknown to her. People told that she was from some school in Gujarat, some even said Maharashtra, for who knows the difference between these boundaries in 5th class…may be i should describe her as she sat on the last bench…
She wore a white skirt, which had turned pale yellow by then, seemed she had used the same piece of clothing since nursery. :P Her face, too small, hair nicely tied up and bag that seemed too heavy clearly indicated that she was nothing but a book-worm. Besides, small girls are often more intellectual, the way they tackle situations being timid at first and giving sudden blasts of sturdiness in the meantime gives them an eminent position.
We were rather amused when she was asked her introduction and she claimed to be her previous school’s Topper. It was the season of transfers in our city and everyone who was new at school proclaimed himself/herself to be the topper. As such the word topper had new added meanings for us, she had only been mistaken for being a part of it.
‘Would anyone help her complete the notes?’ Our science teacher asked. Boys showed no interest. Vijiya said she would. Who the hell would care, better if she didn’t get any, we thought. Isn’t that the way simple people think, who thinks of helping the needy in 5th standard and who dares to be in contact with a ‘Topper’…!

P.S: She would literally kill me if she knows...!
