"Why does she turn back all the time?"

As days passed and we leapt from our primary to secondary classes, things had changed quite a few. She had turned more hostile towards my rank, attracted friends who turned alien to me then, took away half of my ‘praise’ quota out of teacher’s mouths, made me think twice and thrice of everything I did or would be about to (Na..na..Just so that she couldn’t make fun of it!), decreased the whole class students’ rank by 1(except of course!), etc…etc…

And yeah, one more strange habit, she developed. The habit of turning back and seeing the last benches! No matter which period/which class/which teacher, she would somehow excuse herself and look back. It took me time to accept completely (though I knew it from the beginning :P) before everyone “Yes…she sees me, But only for teasing, nothing else. Fine!” We were quite kids for any afterthoughts then… :P. As time grew, even the teachers started asking, “Why does she turn back all the time? Something only she had no answer. Rest all would giggle under their desks.

Sometimes I blushed, other times I dared enough to reach her neckline but couldn’t make an eye-contact. Made me uneasy…sulky, helpless sometimes but gradually I learnt my way…Everything advanced and changed with time, our classes, friends, teachers and the whole ambience. But her turning back and seeing ‘someone’ never left her…

P.S:I still doubt whether she gave me that ‘Seducing Look’ once! Couldn’t clarify. Maybe you guys can ask…
